CABE MERAH
AND CABE HIJAU
Once upon a time, there was a happy
family lived in small village in the corner of the country. The man in the
family had two wives each of them had one daughter. From the first wife, he had
a charm, cute, with attractive, beautiful, and energic Cabe…Cabe…Cabe Hijau .
From the second wife, he had an envious and bad temperament daughter named Cabe
Merah. Their personality are not same at all and in opposite. And one day,
Bawang Putih’s mom was passed away. Cabe Hijau felt so sad. She cried all day
long. She lose a warm and kind person in her life, and someone who always
protecting and understand her.
Father : “My dear Bawang Putih, I know
you feel so sad but you must take care yourself.You don’t have to cry, but you
should be strong girl.” (He hug his daughter)
Cabe
Hijau : “I love her so much. She was the only one
who understand me. And I don’t have somebody turn to.”
Father : “You still have me, your step
mother and your sister. You can share everything to us.”
Cabe Hijau : “Really Father? Do they love me as
well?”
Father :
“Sure they do, So… No more tears okay?”
Cabe
Hijau : “Alright Father, I love them with all of
my heart.”
Her father is businessman, He must
to take care his business in the heart of the country.Not so long, as usual the
father went to town for business.
Father : “Take care of the kids, my
love… I’ll be back soon.
(The step mother kiss
father’s hand)
Step
mother : ”I’ll take care of the house
and the kids. Go and do your business and don’t worry about Cabe Hijau, I’ll love
her as my own daughter and I’ll love her as big as I love you”
Father : “Thank you, love you, Byee…”
After he left, the step mother and Cabe
Merah showed their real personality to Cabe Hijau. The real personality that
her husband never knew.
Step
mother : “Cabe Hijau !! Come here !”
Cabe
Hijau : “Yes Mother ..”
Step
mother : “Me and Cabe Merah are going
to shopping, so you must cook the dinner for us.”
Cabe
Merah : “Oh ya, There’s a bunch
of dirty clothes in my room, get it and wash it!!”
Cabe
Hijau : “Yes step mother.”
Step
Mother : “khmm… what did you say?”
Cabe
Hijau : “ I mean mother”
Step
Mother : “ Smart dougter! You should
finish it before we come. Or you will
have a surpise”
In the step of their way. They are
talking about Cabe Hijau.
Cabe Merah : “Mom, why every body loves Cabe
Hijau instead of me ? Is she more beautiful than me ?”
Step
mother : “No, she’s not. You’re the
most beautiful girl in the world.”
Cabe
Merah : “Really mom ? But people
say she’s beautiful and kind.”
Step
mother : “Let them talk whatever they
want. Don’t worry about it, I’ll make her suffer if that can make you happy,
dear.”
Few weeks later. The father went
back home. The step mother and Cabe Merah wanted to have all of his wealth. And
they planned to kill him. So, they make a cup of tea that had poison in it.
Cabe
Merah : “Here’s Dad, a cup of tea
for making you relax.”
Father : “You’re so thoughtful, thank
you…”
(He drinks it, step
mother shows up)
“Wh … what you gave to
me ?”
Cabe
Merah : “Nothing Daddy, it’s
okay. It’ll help you to rest.”
Cabe Hijau : “Father.. What happen with you?
What happen with him, Mom ?”
Step
Mother : “He’ll rest … for a long
time, and close his eyes in peace…”
(Cabe Merah and step
mother are laughing)
Cabe Hijau : “No… why are you so mean like this! Are you
a monster? I think you still have a heart inside. But why?”
Step
Mother : “ Are you kid? Or you
still belive about happy ending? Wake up, we life in a real life…we don’t life
in a story or fairy tail.”
Cabe
Merah : “ aha…that’s true. Mom
how about the dress?”
Step
Mother : “OMG, sorry I forgot it.
We should prepare it now.”
(Cabe Hijau still cry after Step Mother and
Cabe Merah left)
Sky is becoming into dark blue with
sparkling stars, but Cabe Hijau still sad. So she went to the park and sat by
herself on the bench. Suddenly, there was a light in bush and came to Cabe
Hijau slowly.
Old
lady : “Hi,dear”
Cabe
Hijau : “Hi, sorry I mean hi me?”
Old lady : “aha…why are you looking so sad?”
Cabe Hijau : “ you know there was something like
that? Just like I’m tiring. But you look so hungry? Do you want some?”
Old
lady : “ I’m not hungry. I’ll be
okey?”
Cabe
Hijau : “ I’m not sure with that? Please take it...”
Old
Lady : “ okey if you insist me.
Hmmm…delicious you good at cooking. Don’t you?”
Cabe
Hijau : “ Thank you, but I’ve to
go…sorry”
Old
Lady : “ wait a minute!”
Cabe
Hijau : “ pardon me?”
Old
Lady : “ Take it and plant it in your back
yard!”
Cabe
Hijau : “ I’m sorry, but I can’t”
Old
Lady : “ why? Do you want me to
be cry?”
Cabe
Hijau : “ Sure, I don’t. I’ll take
it. See you latter!”
Old
Lady : “ Bye!”
Cabe Hijau went back home and plant
the seed in the back yard. A few months later, the plant was growing big.
King : "Son, come here!"
Prince : " Yes, dady. but why are you looking so tired?"
King : "that's what i wanna tell you. in this my old age, I want you to take over the kingdom."
Prince : "but why?"
King : "I was very sick now, i can't handle the kingdom. but there is one way to solve this problem."
Prince : "How?"
King : " You must to find Gardenotarium, and get the leaf."
Prince : " How can i find it?"
King : " you must to search it, one by one at the villager's houses."
Prince : " I'll get it for you!"
King : " but not easy to find it. usually the villager who plant this plant is the lucky one and was selected by misterious person."
Prince : "but i'll try it. see you later, dady. "
King : "Good luck" (the king was chougging)
And there was a charm prince who looked for the plant that could cure the king who was very sick.
When he passed Cabe Hijau’s house, he saw the plant and knocked on the door.

Prince : “Eee, I saw the plant outside
and I need it for the king. Can I have the leaves, please?”
Cabe
Merah : “Sure, I get the knives,
wait wait …”
(Bawang Merah went inside to find the knives)
Prince : “Do you live alone with your
daughter?”
Step
mother : “O yeah, your majesty. We
only live here alone since a long time ago.”
Prince : “How you get that plant?
Because I have been looking for it everywhere and gotn’t find it.”
Step
mother : “Pardon me, but what plant
that you mean?”
Prince : “Behind you.”
Step
Mother : “ you should see the plant
in your backyard.”
( step mother go to the backyard)
Cabe
Merah : “What Mom ? What did you ask?”
Prince : “Oh, she ask me what’s the plant.”
(They walked toward the
plant)
Step
Mother : “ what’s the special with
this plant?”
Cabe
Merah : “Oh yaa, What’s the special about this
plant?”
Prince : “You’re the one who plant it, why you
don’t know?”
Cabe
Merah : “Ehmm, I don’t know. I just plant it.”
Cabe Hijau
cut the leaves but she couldn’t. The leaves is so strong. Then the step mother
tried, but she couldn’t. And the prince tried, he couldn’t also. Neither of
them cut it. But a light was coming when they tried to cut the plant.
Old lady : “Non of you cut it. Do you know why?
You didn’t plant it. In fact, the plant chooses the owner. Only the kind
hearted person will be chosen.” (Stay in)
Prince : “What?? You didn’t plant it? I
thought you said you did.”
Cabe
Merah : “Eh uuhmm ehm heem… you know I don’t like
gardening “ (confused)
When
they tried to cut it, suddenly Cabe Hijau came from market. She bought some
vegetables and fruits for dinner.
Cabe
Hijau : “What are you doing to my plant, Bawang
Merah?”
Prince :“Are you the owner?”
Cabe
Hijau : “Yes, I am. Who are you?”
Prince : “I’m looking for your plant.
Can I have some leaves for my father ? He is sick.”
Cabe
Hijau : “ You mean this plant?”
Prince : “Sure!”
Cabe
Hijau : “Oh okey, how much do you
need? I’ll cut it for you.”
Prince : “Thank you, what nice of you.”
Cabe Hijau take the knife, cut the leaves
easily and gave it to Prince.
Prince : “Thank you, I’ll bring this
back to the castle if you would like to, you can come with me.”
(He tried to hold her hand but she hesitated)
Cabe
Hijau : “
Pardon me,sir. Who are you?”
Prince : “ Sorry, I forget to introduce
my self. Prince Charles, from Gardenia. Please go with me my dad want to meet
you...”
Old
lady : “Go with him, you deserve
to live happy.”
(She joins their hands together)
Cabe
Hijau : “ I can’t… I can’t leave
this family. I life here, It’s my life, it’s me… I don’t want to lose my mother
and sister.”
(Step Mother and Cabe Merah suddenly they hugged
Cabe Hijau)
Cabe
Merah : “ Please forgive me, I’m
really really wanna be your sister. I don’t want to lose you, I hope we can be
good twins. I hope we can life like this forever.”
Step
Mother : “ Cabe Hijau please come with
him, you will happy with him.”
Cabe
Hijau : “ Sorry, your mejasty. I cant
I wanna life with them.”
Prince : “ But it’s doesn’t matter if I wanna
be your husband.”
( They
shocked and confused )
Cabe
Hijau : “ Today, I’m teenager. I think
I wanna be your… best friend.
Prince : “ its Ok. But some day I’ll marry
you!”
They are life happily. Cabe Hijau life well
with surrounded by her lovely sister and mother. But about the prince, he is
Cabe Hijau’s best friend. They worked together to give the best service to
Gardenia’s villager.
